A lots of nice food to be eaten – that is why Christmas rocks!
I had fun this time as well making cookies. In my little brother’s school many parents organized a little party for all of us and that was when I saw and fell in love with (so-called) terrace cookies. They are quite big, but you cannot eat more than 1-2 at once! Unfortunately, the recipe I have has eggs in it so you better pack them for your family, friends or who else.
Here they are:
The marmalade I used was made by my grandmother personally only for me (rose hip). You can also use another marmalade if you like. Here’s the recipe:
1 egg
250gr flour
150gr butter (slightly melted)
60gr sugar.
You mix them all together, butter slightly melted because it is easier to mix it with flour. Knead it properly and let it stay in fridge for an hour. Take it out and knead it once again. Roll it out, make forms out of it and bake it in oven heated on 180° for 8-10 minutes. They won’t change the colour, so really take care otherwise they’ll be very hard and burnt. Put a bit of powder sugar over it and serve them cold.
Mary X-Mas!
